Why did you choose San Juan College?

"The fact that San Juan College offers a fully accredited online vet tech program was a major reason that i decided to attend. Having the flexibility of online classes and knowing that I could obtain a high quality education from knowledgeable instructors was the push I needed to pursue a career that I had always dreamed of."

What did you do to prepare for your career?

"I preparation of my career as a Veterinary Assistant I visited the clinic that I was interested in joining. As they are an OCCI approved clinic and have helped other students pursuing veterinary careers, they welcomed me with open arms and I am truly grateful for that."

What advice would you give to future graduates?

"My advice for future graduates is that you are never too old to train for the career that you want, so go for it! I started my journey quite late in life. I am so glad that I did and I am enjoying every minute of it."

What was your fondest memory at San Juan College?

"The instructors as San Juan College are passionate about the subjects that they teach and want you to succeed! Their engagement with their students and their desire to help you achieve your goals is apparent and very much appreciated."
